2024 Timbers Loan Watch 050124
On loan with USL Championship club Indy Elven, Timbers Homegrown goalkeeper Hunter Sulte has earned back-to-back starts and picked up his first win of the season in a 2-1 victory vs. North Carolina FC.

On a season-long loan, Portland Timbers goalkeeper Hunter Sulte secured his first win of the season, helping Indy Eleven to a 2-1 victory over North Carolina FC in USL Championship play on April 27.

Sulte, 22, has made consecutive starts with two solid outings for Indy Eleven, earning the win against North Carolina (HIGHLIGHTS) and a draw against Colorado Springs on April 20 (HIGHLIGHTS). In total, he’s made six saves and allowed just two goals.

"It feels good," said Sulte after the win. "I felt a lot more confident in the way I'm playing behind these guys... it's great to get back out there.”

Joining Sulte on loan at Indy Eleven is forward Tega Ikoba, 20, who has started four of his six appearances with the club thus far, scoring one goal.
